Beishaolin Quanmen (Northern Shaolin Gate) is an ancient style with its roots reaching the distant days of Shaolin temple. Hundreds of years of development are reflected in the mightiness and comprehensiveness of the style. there are 3 requisite skills in Beishaolin:
1. training of forms,
2. Xiao Jin Zhao Zhong (small golden bell cover) 3. Tie Sha Zhang (iron sand palm) The most famous representative of this style is Gu Ruzhang (Ku Yu Cheong), teacher of and Yan Shang Wu (Yang Shang Mo) who taught the current standard bearer of Beishaolin, Grandmaster Chan Kowk Wai (Chen Guo Wei), whose direct disciple is Dou Wanchun.
